RESTART PULMONARY FUNCTION AND OUTPATIENT CLINIC

You will find herewith two documents : one document regarding the approach about "Outpatient follow-up of COVID patients after hospitalization" and one document regarding recommendations about "Working on FM Pneumology during the corona pandemic".
We hope that you can get started with it.
With best regards,
Wim Janssens, Natalie Lorent, Geert Verleden (UZ Leuven) and the BeRS

Outpatient follow-up of COVID patients after hospitalization

This approach has been developed at UZ Leuven, tested with the internal hygiene and prevention department of UZ Leuven and presented to a number of Flemish university centers that can also endorse this.
This approach is center-specific. This means that every hospital can/must make its own adapted version in function of its local policy. The intention is to provide a basic structure that is sufficiently supported so that you can fall back on it.
This dynamic document is based on contemporary insights and current epidemiological problems (version 1 29-04-2020). If fundamental changes are necessary, they will be implemented.

Working on FM Pneumology during the corona pandemic

These recommendations have been developed at UZ Leuven, tested with the internal hygiene and prevention service of UZ Leuven and presented to a number of Flemish university centers that endorse them.
These recommendations remain center-specific. This means that every hospital can/must make its own adapted version in function of its local policy. The intention is to provide a basic structure that is sufficiently supported so that you can fall back on it. In the medium term, we are best working on a full consensus document, which we will translate, but in the current context and urgency, this is not realistic.
This document is dynamic. This means that it is based on contemporary insights and current epidemiological problems (version 2 - 05-05-2020). If fundamental changes are necessary, they will be implemented.
You will also find an addendum from UZ Gent regarding these recommendations (version 1 - 11-05-2020).
